INGREDIENTS
4 medium-sized Potatoes
½ teaspoon Mustard Seeds
½ teaspoon Cumin Seeds
¼ teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1 teaspoon Chilli Powder
1 teaspoon Chili - Ginger Paste
1 tablespoon Coriander-Cumin Powder
1 teaspoon Sugar (Optional)
2 tablespoon Oil
juice of half a Lemon
Salt to Taste
Garnish:
2 tablespoons Chopped Green Coriander
PREPARATION
peel and cut potatoes in square cubes
wash thoroughly, keep aside
heat oil in a pot
add mustard, cumin
when it splutters add chilli - ginger paste
add potatoes
add salt and turmeric powder
stir properly, cover and cook on low heat
stir in between
when cooked add dhania-jeera powder, chilli powder
stir properly
take off heat and garnish with coriander
