INGREDIENTS
1½ Cup Long Grained Rice
2 tablespoons of Oil
½ tablespoon of Mustard Seeds
Salt to Taste
½ teaspoons of Turmeric Powder
1 Green/Red Chilli cut into Small Pieces
Juice of ½ a Lemon
Garnish:
Chopped Green Coriander Leaves
PREPARATION
wash and soak the rice for about 10 minutes
drain water and keep aside
heat oil in a pressure cooker
add mustard seeds and wait till they splutter
then add rice, salt, turmeric powder
stir well and add chillies
then add 3 cups of water and lemon juice, stir well
then pressure cook till 2 whistles
when ready garnish with green coriander
