Common Shared Accommodation – Free (Mint Homes)

Common accommodation shall be strictly gendered specific and available on a shared basis with other devotees free of cost. Mattresses, pillows and bedding sheets shall be included while Bathroom and Toilet facilities shall be shared. This facility is not advisable for those requiring care and or special assistance.

Rates are for accommodation only and do not include any chargeable facility consumed at the place of accommodation.
All meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner shall be catered for at the Temple.
Airport pickup, Transport to the Temple, both to and for, shall be provided by the Temple's dedicated Transport Committee on a complimentary basis but strictly as per an agreed timetable.
Personal belongings, at the place of accommodation, shall at all times remain the liability of the owner.

Uganda Entry Requirements

1. Health Declaration

All travellers who enter Uganda via airports and other ports are required to complete the MoH Uganda Travel Health Declaration
All passengers arriving to and departing from Uganda are required to complete the Traveler Health Declaration form within 24 hours of the flight time. The form can be accessed on https://poe-screening.health.go.ug/
All travellers should hold a valid COVID19 vaccination certificate or negative PCR test with a sample taken at most 72 hours prior to the first port of embarkation, en-route to Uganda.
Children below the age of 5 years are exempted from the above declarations.
All travellers including Children below 5 years should hold valid Yellow Fever Certificate.

2. Visa

Applications should be done through https://visas.immigration.go.ug/#/ and payment can be done online by either by credit or debit cards.
Please find the below tourist visa requirements for entry into Uganda. There are three types of Visas one can apply depending on one’s travel plans: -

a. Ordinary Single Tourist Visa which will cost USD 50

Passport bio data page colored (advisable to attach back page for Indian Passport holders)
Recent passport size photo colored
Yellow fever certificate (not required for infants) and those above age of 60yrs will be required to upload the expired certificate
Cover letter mentioning purpose of visit

Invitation letter from Host
Valid immigration status of Host (work permit or Residence permit page is required along with passport copy and contact number)

b. East Africa Tourist Visa which will cost USD 100

c. East African Citizens and Residents

East African citizens are visa free and residents are as well on condition they have interstate passes.
Kenyans will be required to apply for an online interstate pass prior to departure. This can be applied through https://www.ecitizen.go.ke and steps to be followed though https://immigration.go.ke/border- management/application-steps/

First aid boxes will be kept at all the Utaras designated by the SKSS Temple only. (It would include most basic medicines like pain killers, flu caps, muscle relaxants, etc. only)
Fridge/Cold storage will be available at SKSS Temple premises which could be utilised by the guests who are required to carry their medicines that need refrigeration. For example insulin, etc.(For the purpose of storage, please bring your own containers well labeled with your full name and contact details if possible.)
