There is a jewelled golden Sinhaasan in the first part of the altar at Shree Swaminarayan Temple along with one Shaiya (a resting room) called Sukh Shaiya. Shree Swaminarayan Bhagwan is found sitting on this attractive golden sinhasan. One’s mind is attracted due to the bright aura. This part of the Temple was built and completed on 9th October 1848, the tenth day of the Ashwin month, Samvat 1904.The beautiful picture painting of Shree Sahajanand Swami was prepared by his follower Shree Narayan Suthar.
The second Sinhaasan houses the idols of Shree Nar and Shree Narayan. The idols are carved from dark stone and are extremely beautiful; they were installed by Lord Swaminarayan Himself on 15th May 1823, on the fifth day of moon in Vaishakh with perfect Vedic-Ceremony. To the right hand side of the Idols of Shree Narnarayan Dev, is a golden idol of Shree Hari-Krishna which was installed on 6th March 1867 on the third day of moon in Falguni month Samvat 1923, which was a Friday. This idol was installed by Acharya Shree Ayodhya Prasadji of Ahmedabad.
There are golden idols of Lord Shree Krishna along with Shree Radhikaji installed in the third Sinhaasan . These idols were placed by Acharya Shree Vasudevji Maharaj on 21st April 1911, on the seventh day of Chaitra, Samvat 1967. On the right of Shree Krishna resides Ghanshyam Maharaj's idol which was also installed on the same day.
In the fourth Sinhaasan resides the illuminating and very attractive idol of Shree Ghanshyam Maharaj. This white idol was prepared from a high quality of marble called Amritsheela, which was very carefully carved with love and affection. This special and brightened idol was installed on Monday 20th April 1942, on the fifth day of moon in Vaishakh, Samvat 1998 by Sadguru Mahant Swami Shree Vallabhdasji and Acharya Shree Devendraprasadji Maharaj.
